spent the last couple of days cruising around joburg... wow! i have learnt an unbelievable amount about our country, its history and the people who live here and are part of the place. i finally have a much better sense of why our country is the way it is today, i finally understand... so far so good as this is what i was hoping i would get out of being here. in visiting the various sites, like sterkfontein, soweto, hector peterson museum, apartheid museum, the colony, constitution hill, etc... have learnt alot and my mind is reelling but in a good way. cant give away too much though cos its going to have to go into the film... and the suspension builds!!! anyway, writing is simone's forte, mine is (we will see, thunbs crossed) the film.

tomorrow, we off to ghana...

I tell you, this trip is going to be a breeze compared to organising it! Running out of time and still so much to do. At least the farewell went off without a hitch.. I have the best friends EVER! Thanks to everyone that came, it was so much fun and great to see everyone before I go. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
